Post Ping K15 Irons designed with traditional Ping style
At first glance, the Ping K15 Irons are designed with same head profiles, sole thicknesses, lofts and shaft lengths as G15, along with several new features that aid feel, forgiveness and distance. Ping engineers, for example, strengthened the "Custom Tuning Port" (CTP) in the rear cavity. The reinforced CTP combines with an elastomer badge to reduce face vibration and dampen shock. The thinner, lighter face allows four grams to be shifted more rearward in the head. The payoff should be more playable misses, a higher ball flight and slightly more carry with the long irons.

You must wonder how long the ping irons k15 hit, in fact, it is not the problem that you would worry about. With so many pieces of equipment in today's day and age touting longer distances than ever, THP was intrigued to hear that while Ping is touting the long distances achieved with the K15 line, the company is also promising “distance control”. Putting this to the test for weeks, we found that Ping did in fact hit a home run in that department. The thinner face does give off more distance and forgiveness with a higher ball flight, while the gapping between irons is perfect.
