Golf, like life, as you observe from different perspectives become different. Titleist AP1 712 Ironsas a different life come to us. The titleist ap1 stay true to the design mission of "Advanced Performance with Feel", which is the goal of Titleist introduces the generation of its groundbreaking Advanced Performance irons. The set is a multi-material, dual cavity iron that provides modern ball flight and forgiveness with the traditional feel, look and sound that serious golfers have come to expect from a Titleist iron.The ap1 irons is a large set, made of cast stainless steel, provides more forgiveness but less “maneuverability”. In this case, discretionary mass is shifted from the topline, center back and stainless sole plate to a heavy tungsten toe weight. What a truly good design they have. The titleist ap1 inherited the essence of Titleist. The higher MOI provides more consistent ball speed across the clubface and better distance control. Particular, this iron provides more forgiveness without any loss of workability or shot control. The ap1 irons features sleeker contours that result in a better address position, and the iron has been improved with internal weighting that utilizes higher density tungsten in order to distribute mass more efficiently which increases the moment-of-inertia without changing the CG location or the blade length. The irons are a huge project. Every detail of the design has a good performance. |
